Micro-importation tools for Algeria

Micro-importation is a regime created by executive decree 25-170 (28 June 2025) that lets an auto-entrepreneur registered with ANAE under activity 080101 import goods worth up to 1,800,000 DA per trip, at most twice a month, for 5% customs duty and 0.5% IFU. Start with eligibility and the product, then check the ceiling and charges before estimating profit. Official validation remains with ANAE, Customs and the tax administration.

Where to start? Five steps in order

  1. Check the conditions firstAge, nationality and residence, auto-entrepreneur card, CASNOS, NIF and BEA account: eight points settled in a minute.
  2. Search the prohibited goodsBefore buying: is your product among the ANAE exclusions? Not appearing does not mean it is allowed.
  3. Calculate the ceilingConvert your foreign-currency budget to dinars and compare it with the 1.8M DA ceiling and two trips per month.
  4. Calculate customs and tax5% customs and 0.5% IFU on the customs value: what you pay at the border, before any sale.
  5. Calculate cost and profitAdd purchase, charges, travel and selling price to see the profit and margin per trip.

What are the figures based on?

Executive decree 25-170 of 28 June 2025 (JO 40) setting the conditions of the micro-import activity, article 143 of the 2026 Finance Law (5% customs duty, 0.5% IFU on the customs value plus duty and a 30% flat margin), the ANAE guide and the BEA page (1,800,000 DA ceiling, two trips per month).
