Can you still retire before the legal age?

Proportional retirement and retirement with no age condition were abolished by law 16-15 in 2017. Limited exceptions remain: a reduction for women based on number of children, and a 3-year reduction for education-sector staff (law 25-09).

What's the difference between CNR retirement and CASNOS retirement?

CNR covers employees, with a pension based on the average of the best 5 years. CASNOS covers the self-employed with a different formula (2.5% per year of contribution on a reconstituted base) and a distinct pension minimum.

Are these calculators official?

They are estimates based on the laws and decrees in force. The final amount and date are set by the relevant fund (CNR or CASNOS) when the retirement file is filed.

Can you work after reaching the legal retirement age?

Yes, article 7 of law 83-12 allows continuing work for up to 5 additional years (to age 65 for men), with each extra year raising the pension rate due.
