How it works

  1. Deduct the CNAS social security contribution (9%) from gross salary.

  2. Calculate IRG on the remaining amount using the progressive tax bracket, then apply the 40% tax allowance (floor 1,000 DA / ceiling 1,500 DA).

  3. Net salary = gross − CNAS − IRG. Employer cost = gross + 26% CNAS.

Hsabet's salary calculator converts your pay from gross to net (or net to gross) using the deductions in force in Algeria for 2026. It accounts for the employee CNAS social security contribution of 9% and the progressive income tax (IRG) to show exactly what lands in your account at month-end.

It also calculates the true cost to the employer, which includes the employer's CNAS contribution of 26%. For example, a gross salary of 50,000 DA incurs roughly 4,500 DA of CNAS before income tax is applied. The calculator is free, works in both directions, and covers employees in both the public and private sectors.
