How it works
Deduct the CNAS contribution (9%) from gross salary to get taxable income.
Apply the monthly progressive tax scale: 0% up to 20,000 DA, then 23%, 27%, 30%, 33%, 35%.
Subtract the 40% standard allowance (min 1,000 / max 1,500 DA). Taxable income ≤ 30,000 DA is fully exempt. Retirees are fully exempt (2026).
