The national pass rate for the 2026 bac reached 56.18% among enrolled candidates, up 4.61 points from 51.57% in 2025, per the Minister of National Education's announcement on Sunday, 12 July 2026. Here are the official figures, the national top 3 and the top-10 wilaya ranking.

Check your official result
- Results can be consulted on the official ONEC website from 13 July 2026.
- You need your registration number (from the exam summons) and your secret code (from the registration form).
- Transcripts are delivered to successful candidates through their school (enrolled) or the education directorate (independent candidates).
- The website stays open for downloading transcripts until around 12 August 2026.
The only official results website is bac.onec.dz – beware of unofficial pages.

University enrollment 2026, step by step
Pre-registration and wish list (15–19 July)
Fill in your wish list on orientation-esi.dz: 6 to 10 ranked choices, including at least two licences with local or regional recruitment.
Confirm or edit your choices (20–22 July)
Review your choices, then confirm or edit them on the same platform within the deadline; the confirmed list is the one used for orientation.
Orientation results (30 July, evening)
Your assignment appears on the platform. Unplaced candidates submit a new list in phase 2 (31 July – 02 August), with results on 05 August in the evening.
Final enrollment: online payment on PROGRES (05–10 August)
Enrollment becomes final after paying the registration fee electronically with the Edahabia card on progres.mesrs.dz/webetu (phase 2: 07–09 August); the payment deadline is 28 August 2026.
University services and scholarship (September)
Transport and housing are requested with the final enrollment; scholarship files are submitted on PROGRES from 01 to 15 September 2026.

6 to 10 choices ranked by preference.
Mandatory: at least two licences with local or regional recruitment.
Submitted exclusively on orientation-esi.dz within the set windows.
Enrollment becomes final after electronic payment on PROGRES (Edahabia card).
