MESRSBack-to-school allowances and deadlines
Schooling allowance: 3,000 DA per child
Social-security members receive a yearly allowance of 3,000 DA for each schooled child, with no income condition, under executive decree 19-239; it is paid through the family-allowance channel.
University grant: 1 to 15 September
Student grant applications are filed online on the PROGRES platform from 1 to 15 September 2026, together with university transport and accommodation requests. The grant is 2,000 DA a month for a course longer than 30 months, provided the parents' combined income stays within 10 × the SNMG (décret exécutif 23-380).
Vocational training: September 2026 session
Enrollment for the September 2026 session runs on the takwin.dz platform or directly at the training establishments; courses start on 4 October 2026.
