How is the CASNOS disability pension calculated?

The tool follows the CASNOS portal: annual base = last annual contribution ÷ 15%, then monthly pension = base × 80% ÷ 12, subject to the portal’s floor. A 45,000 DA contribution gives a 300,000 DA base and 20,000 DA monthly. This reproduces the portal estimate; disability recognition and the fund’s award are separate decisions.

What is the minimum disability pension?

The portal method stored in this tool uses a 13,500 DA monthly floor. Do not confuse it with retirement or contribution thresholds: each calculation has its own basis. If your individual award or statement differs, rely on the fund’s document and request its calculation details. This tool does not access your personal CASNOS record.

How is the assessment base reconstructed?

The contribution is divided by 15% (multiplied by 100/15) to recover the annual assessment base.

Who is entitled to the disability pension?

CASNOS affiliates whose disability is recognized under the fund's eligibility conditions.

Does the estimate establish entitlement to a pension?

No. The tool estimates an amount from the annual contribution entered. It does not check contribution history, cessation of activity or medical assessment. CASNOS determines entitlement and the accepted pension base.

Is the result monthly or annual?

The main result is monthly. The tool first derives an annual base from the contribution entered, applies the pension rate and divides by 12. Do not enter one month’s contribution in the annual contribution field.
