How it works
Enter the taxable surface, the type of use, the building age, and your zone coefficient.

Banque d'AlgérieThe property tax (taxe foncière) is an annual local tax for the communes, owed by every owner of a built property. This tool computes the tax on built properties: base = taxable surface × fiscal rental value per m² (520 DA for housing, 1038 DA for commercial and industrial premises) × zone coefficient, with an age abatement (2% per year, capped at 25% for dwellings).
The rate is 3% for built properties, raised to 10% for a secondary home that is unoccupied and not rented (2025 finance law). The zone coefficient is set by the interministerial order of 10 November 2022 by zone and sub-zone – enter it (default 1). Indicative result; confirm with the tax inspectorate.
