What are the Cadets of the Nation Schools?

They are secondary-education institutions under the dual supervision of the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of National Education, admitting high-achieving Algerian pupils who wish to join the People's National Army, on a full-boarding basis with complete care.

How does the entrance competition work?

The competition includes a medical examination, a physical-education test, and written tests in mathematics, physics-technology and Arabic. The site and the competition dates are set after the BEM results are announced.

Registration is exclusively online at preinscription.mdn.dz/cadets. This tool does not register you; it only helps you check your eligibility beforehand.

What happens after the baccalaureate?

After obtaining the baccalaureate, cadets are oriented toward the various People's National Army training structures according to the Ministry of National Defence's needs.
