An employer who undertakes training or upskilling actions for its workers; the National Unemployment Insurance Fund covers the social-security contribution during the training.

How long is the coverage?

The Fund covers the contribution for up to 3 months for each training or upskilling action.

How is the amount calculated?

The monthly amount covered = the employer share of the social-security contribution (25% of salary) multiplied by the number of training months.

How does it differ from the hiring incentive?

The training incentive covers the training of current workers (contribution covered for 3 months), while the hiring incentive covers hiring new job-seekers (durable abatement + subsidy). Both stem from law 06-21.
