Who benefits from the hiring incentive?

An employer in the economic sector, up to date on contributions, who hires a job-seeker registered with the employment services for at least 12 months (or 6 months in tourism, crafts, culture, agriculture, construction and services).

How large is the abatement?

The employer share of the social-security contribution is reduced by 5% of salary in the North (7% for a first-time job-seeker) and by 9% in the Highlands and South wilayas, for up to 3 years while the employment is maintained.

What is the monthly employment subsidy?

If the contract is permanent (CDI), the employer additionally receives a monthly employment subsidy of 1,000 DA per hire, for 3 years.

Does the rate differ in the South?

Yes, hiring in the Highlands and South grants a larger abatement (9%), whether or not the job-seeker is a first-timer.

Where do the rates come from?

Executive decree 07-386 sets the reduced employer share at 20% (has worked before), 18% (first-time job-seeker) and 16% (Highlands and South), from a base employer share of 25% – i.e. abatements of 5%, 7% and 9%.

Does the tool replace CNAC?
