Algeria vehicle exit tax calculator

Since 1 January 2026, a fuel-consumption tax is due at each exit from the national territory through the borders, compensating the gap between the administered fuel price and its international price (art. 97 LF 2026 amending art. 81 LF 2021).

For tourism vehicles the tariff is progressive by the number of same-day exits; for utility vehicles, trucks and buses it is flat per rotation. The tax is paid in advance at the tax office or electronically; customs check payment at the exit posts.
